WELCOME!
It is very important for me to take a minute to share with you my mission statement that demonstrates some of my goals as a teacher. This statement hangs on my classroom wall and means a lot to me. I hope the students and parents know that I take my place in the classroom seriously.
MY MISSION STATEMENT:
In my classroom I would like to be a positive role model by showing my students trust, patience, and encouragement. I would like to give support and inspiration to students while constantly reflecting on my practice and demonstrating fresh and inspiring topics. In a perfect world, I will create a learning environment where all students can learn to be happy, informed, independent thinkers and bring positivity to others.

Hi Everyone!
Just to share a short bio, I am Ryanne Prevost of Rumford, Maine. I was born in New Hampshire and moved to Maine when I was just two. I've grown up in the RSU 10 District by attending Canton Elementary School (when it was open!), T.W. Kelly Middle School in Dixfield, and graduating from Dirigo High School in 2005. I graduated from the University of Maine at Farmington with a degree in secondary education - language arts. I was fortunate enough to begin my career with my student teaching at Mountain Valley Middle School in 7th grade Language Arts. When my student teaching assignment wrapped up, I moved into a long term substitute position teaching Math & Science in the 7th grade. My first full-time position was teaching Title One math for all three grades at MVMS. I then spent 2 years teaching Math, one teaching Language Arts, and then moved into my current position as 8th grade Math. This is most definitely my passion and this learning environment is an excellent place to be and work!
Besides school I really love spending time with my family. My husband and I have a son and a daughter. They keep life lively and fun and I am so very proud to be a mom! Family is very important to me, as are my great group of friends. I love doing anything active and outdoors, especially running. Spring & Summer are my favorite because the weather is so fun and there are so many activities to do! I truly love to teach and help students learn and grow. It's very important to me to continue on this path and move forward with my career.
